In remembrance of 9/11, Calera Early Childhood wanted to show their appreciation for the local heroes along with our service men and women. Students participated in a water and Gatorade drive to be donated to Calera police, fire and emergency management departments. In an act of patriotism students took part in a walking parade from the EC building to the fire department to deliver the items collected.

The Calera Lady Softball team won runner up in the Plainview Fastpitch Tournament after two days of hard play. After winning against Lawton Friday, the Lady Dogs played 4 games back to back Saturday defeating Marlow, Norman North, and Plainview to play Valiant in the championship. Congrats to Coach Ellevold and the ladies!
Physicals for 5th and 6th graders competing in athletics for the coming school year will be on August 21st at the new gym starting at 6pm.
7th and 8th grades will be holding an open house on the same date and times as elementary and high school. We look forward to welcoming our new and returning students and parents
Open house for the NEW HS will be, August 14th from 5:00-6:30.
If your child is participating in competitive athletics, Physicals will be Tuesday, July 31st at the Calera Urgent Care. Girls 9am-11am Boys 11am-1pm
