Welcome to my "About Vicki" page!

I have lived in Bryan county all of my life and attended Calera Schools for 12 years graduating in 1977.  I attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education as well as Elementary Education with a minor in Music.

I have taught at Calera School for 22 years. My teaching experience includes 7th and 8th grade science and math for 5 years, 5th and 6th grade reading for one year and third grade for 16 years. 

I have 2 daughters, Brandy Humble and Danna Hogue.  Danna and her husband live in Oklahoma city and have made me the proud "Nana" of Addison Danielle Hogue who was born February 14, 2008.  Brandy and her husband also live in Oklahoma City.   Brandy recently accepted a job as an RN at Bethany Children's Hopsital.   

I attend church at Calvary Baptist Church in Durant where I play in the handbell choir. 

My hobbies include scrapbooking, listening to country music (George Strait and Jason Meadows are my favorite), working in my yard and flower beds, playing the piano and going to OU football games. I love going to the beach!

My favorite way to spend free time is with my grandaughter Addison!  She is the light of my life!  Check out my photo page to see pictures of my family.
